Seaham beach is one of our slightly smaller local beaches which is slightly rockier but with a great promenade to walk along! It is becoming more and more popular with the people of the North East and investment has seen it rise to become one of the best seaside locations in the region.

Well, what can we say about Makarska, what an absolute hidden gem!
We stumbled across it on our drive from Dubrovnik to Zadar as we were both feeling hungry and wanted to stretch our legs part way through the journey. To say we were impressed by what we found would be an understatement…

Now, visiting Bosnia wasn’t actually on our itinerary when we planned our Croatian Adventure. However, once we had the car hire sorted, we were free to travel where we wanted to. Michael is a huge Coach Trip fan and he always remembers the episode where they go to Mostar. So, it was goodbye Croatia and Hello Bosnia for the day. Michael isn’t a fan of Game of Thrones, but it was definitely somewhere that caught our attention. Is Dubrovnik worth visiting?

The trip was mainly to see Dubrovnik and we mapped out a few other places such as Zadar and the Krka national park. We decided on a few days in Split as we flew into the cities airport and from pictures the old town looked great. Split surprised us and has became one of our favourite destinations.
